How does the free trial work?
Create your account on a Mac or Windows computer to continue straight to secure checkout. On a phone, you can choose checkout or continue setup on your computer. Account creation alone does not start the trial; it begins when checkout confirms activation. 7 days free, then $249 every 4 weeks. Card required. First subscription only. Cancel before your trial ends to avoid a charge. No demo is required.
Is MARKIT billed monthly?
Full Access is $249 every four weeks, after your eligible seven-day trial. Four weeks is a 28-day billing interval, not a calendar month. Your next payment date is shown in Billing.
Do I need to book a demo?
No. You can create an account and activate an eligible trial on your own. A personal walkthrough is available if you would like help getting oriented.
Which marketplaces can I use?
MARKIT offers workflows for Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, and eBay. Connect your marketplaces from Connections in MARKIT Desktop. Available actions depend on your account, connection, and each destination’s requirements.
Can I use MARKIT in my browser?
You can create an account, manage your subscription, and access your account dashboard in the browser. Use MARKIT Desktop to connect your marketplaces, save eBay seller preferences, and manage listing workflows. Visit Downloads for macOS and Windows options.
Does Martin send buyer replies automatically?
Martin helps draft replies. You review the message, check its details, and send it. You stay responsible for pricing, commitments, and conversations with buyers.
How do I connect eBay?
Open Connections in MARKIT Desktop, choose Connect eBay, and authorize your seller account on eBay. Save your delivery, payment, and return policies plus your item location. Use Desktop for listing workflows. Buyer messages require message access in your connection; missing seller settings must be completed before publishing.
What can I filter in the scanner?
In MARKIT Desktop, filter available listings by keyword, excluded words, marketplace, price, condition, category, area, and time window. Additional filters cover photos, a stated price, recorded price drops, delivery, and category-specific attributes. Results depend on the listing information available.
What is the difference between a filter preset and an alert?
A scanner filter preset saves a combination of filters for your next browse. A saved search in Alerts checks for matching listings and surfaces them in your deal feed. Desktop notifications and optional email delivery depend on your settings. Saving a scanner preset alone does not create an alert.
Which marketplaces does the scanner cover?
The current Desktop scanner includes available Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and OfferUp listings. Coverage and freshness vary by marketplace, category, and area; it is not a complete feed of every listing. eBay seller connections and listing tools are separate from scanner discovery.
How do I cancel?
Open Billing in your dashboard and use the billing portal to manage or cancel your subscription. To avoid a trial charge, cancel before the trial ends. Check the confirmation and effective date in the portal.
Where can I get help?
Email support@markits.dev with the page or workflow you were using and what happened. Include your operating system if relevant. Never send passwords, payment details, or marketplace session information.
